This is the corner of New Utrecht avenue and 68th street dated May 18, 1914. Notice surface train ( the EL came later ). Scalzo Realty stands next to the corner store that is for rent. Standing outside is Patsy Scalzo, awaiting a potential client.

Pictured here at 1464 64th street is the Scalzo brother’s warehouse and Real Estate office. Pasquale ( Patsy ) Scalzo, founder of Scalzo Real Estate is second from the right. Building was later converted to a residence where he raised eight children.
